Power of Attorney (PoA) prepared in a format prescribed by law is certified as per prevalent rules and laws. The grantor/principal of power of attorney must be present in the Embassy and must sign the document in the presence of the head of mission. If any Nepali citizen needs to authorize someone in Nepal to work on his/her behalf for the purpose of selling house/land, vehicle or registering divorce in the authorities concerned of Nepal, he/she needs the Power of Attorney to be signed at the Embassy. Foreign nationals cannot authorize Power of Attorney.
Fee applicable AUD $5.00. In case of Land/House transfer to other than own family of three generation- AUD $55.00

Note:
1. The fees paid for the service must be used within one year. Repayment will apply if service has not been rendered by any reason within a year or if the document has to be re-attested due to any change in document detail.
