Power of Attorney (PoA) prepared in a format prescribed by law is certified as per prevalent rules and laws. The grantor/principal of power of attorney must be present in the Embassy and must sign the document in the presence of the head of mission. If any Nepali citizen needs to authorize someone in Nepal to work on his/her behalf for the purpose of selling house/land, vehicle or registering divorce in the authorities concerned of Nepal, he/she needs the Power of Attorney to be signed at the Embassy. Foreign nationals cannot authorize Power of Attorney.

For the Purpose of land/property Selling
- Power of Attorney (PoA) prepared in a format prescribed by law (You may consult with any Nepali lawyer)
- Joint formal application addressed to the Embassy (You may consult with any Nepali lawyer)
- Copy of ownership certificate of land/property (धनिपुर्जा)
- Copy of recent revenue pay slip (कर/तिरो तिरेको रसिद)
- Copy of Nepali Citizenship Certificate of both grantor/principal and grantee/agent
- Nepali passport of grantor/principal
- Copy of valid visa of grantor/principal
- Photographs (2 each)
For the Purpose of Divorce

- Copy of Marriage Certificate
- Copy of Nepali Citizenship Certificate of both grantor/principal and grantee/agent
