The appointments are opened every office days at 10:00am Canberra time, for the date of one month later. If you don"t see the appointment dates available, it is due to fully booked. Due to huge demand, appointments are fully booked within few hours
Before starting to apply, prepare JPEG file (less than 300kb) of your Citizenship Certificate (Front and Back) and Passport (Photo page and Page 31) which should be uploaded.
In place of citizenship no, do not use any marks i.e. dash (-) or slash (/), rather just write numbers
Do not write Mr./Mrs./ Ms./Dr. etc. with first name. Write middle name (if any) with the first name unless your existing document/s require otherwise.
To choose "Australia" for birthplace or to choose it for passport issue place if issued from Nepal Embassy Canberra, select "Other" among district names and then choose 'Australia'.
National Identity Number (NIN) is not mandatory to renew passport from Embassy
Compulsorily fill up the mandatory details as indicated by the asterisk (*).
If you make any mistake while filling up online form, it can be corrected at the Embassy on the day of your appointment.
Payment cannot be made online, it should be done at Embassy on the day of biometrics,
After filling up pre-enrollment form, do not forget to save/print it
Applicants are requested to apply for e-Passport with sufficient time-margin as it takes more than two months to issue an e-Passport from the date of application.
MRPs can also be used as long as they are valid. Hence, no need to apply for an e-Passport if the validity is more than a year.
Passport can be renewed if its validity is less than a year
In case of urgency, you may fill up online pre-enrolment form from any other locations (not necessarily under NE, Canberra), and come to Embassy on any office day at 2:30pm for biometrics.
