Should we book appointment for making e-passport of new-born baby? Do the babies need to be present at the Embassy for biometrics?

Babies under 5 years age do not require to come to Embassy in person for biometrics. However, pre-enrolment form cannot be completed without taking any appointment date. So, for the purpose of printing pre-enrolment form, you need to choose any available appointment date.
